Dear Voters of Allegheny County:
Character…Work ethic…Service to others…
It is time that we let those words move us forward…into a positive, energized new year.
We are ready, now more than ever, to have a public servant that we can trust to bring each of those expressions to the forefront in this Judicial election year. These are not only words, but they are also personality traits that exemplify the character that Bill Caye has spent his entire adult life cultivating and honing through his legal education, law profession and just as importantly, through his dedication and hard work aimed towards the growth, success and prosperity of his community, and surrounding regions. With your support, we can have confidence going forward that a new member of our Judiciary will add additional integrity to the Court system that we entrust to disperse justice in a thoughtful, expeditious, and competent manner.
The Caye for Judge Committee proudly announces Bill Caye as a candidate for Allegheny County Common Pleas Court Judge.
Bill embodies the traits we look for in our public servants. He has a proven record of selfless service, honest communication and compassionate decision making that has made a positive impact within his immediate community and beyond. Bill has helped improve the quality of life for some of our most vulnerable populations including seniors, women and children, our animal friends and persons with severe disabilities, mental health conditions, addictions, and special needs through practical solutions to resolve cases in the Juvenile, Orphans (Probate), Civil, Arbitration and Criminal Divisions. He has been involved professionally in our Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of government in the administration of law at the City, County, State, and Federal levels. He has held numerous demanding positions of critical oversight and accountability in due diligence and complex litigation including Senior Deputy Attorney General, Assistant District Attorney and Counsel for over 27 productive years.
Bill is Pittsburgh through and through. He was born, raised, and educated in a working-class neighborhood in the city of Pittsburgh. He founded, developed, and operates a private law practice. He has taught and lectured at the prestigious Wecht Institute of Forensic Science and Law and the Inns of Court Dean Ed Sell Chapter. Bill is President of the Diocesan Serra Club and the Secretary of Autism Speaks in Western Pennsylvania. He has been a Board of Governor for the Duquesne University Law School Alumni Association and a Board of Trustee at Brookline Teen Outreach. He is on the Executive Board of the Western Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame.
Bill Caye is a public servant who is more than capable of administering justice and who is also looking forward to giving his knowledge of our Judicial system another venue for illustration, highlighted by his competency and complete command of the law. Please join us in providing Bill the support and goodwill he will need to serve the citizens of Allegheny County in a decent and courteous manner and assuring justice for all.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter in support of Bill’s campaign for Allegheny County Common Pleas Court Judge. We respect and value your thoughtful consideration and it is genuinely appreciated.
